BABERS

"The origin of the name Babers is English and the Coat of Arms contains a silver shield with a black chevron.

Spelling variations include: Baber, Babre, Bayber, Baybre, Babar, Baybar, Babor and many more.

First found in the Cambridgeshire, where they were seated from early times.

First landed in Francis Barber, who sailed to Massachusetts in 1635. Robert Baber journeyed to Virginia in 1663 and Nick Baber sailed to Philadelphia in 1838."

EPPS

"There are 3 origins of the name Epps.

German Origin - The Coat of Arms contains a gold shield displaying a lion.

Spelling variations include: Epple, Eppler, Epler, Eppel, Eppell, Eppli, Epp, Eppo and many more.

First found in Bavaria, where the family was seated in the Middle Ages.

Some of the first settlers of this name or some of its variants were: William Epes, who settled in Virginia between 1624 and 1625. Hans Eppli came to Pennsylvania in 1739, as did Yerick Eply at age 25 in 1740, Adam Epler in 1760, and Lewis Eppele and his wife Margaret in 1806. Peter Epps landed in New York with his wife and five children in 1876. Herman Epling settled in Ohio in 1879. Galil Eplan settled in Arkansas in 1891.
